Meeting the group (≈ 20 min)
We meet at Pariser Platz by the Brandenburg Gate, at your hotel or office. A short introduction, splitting into teams and handing out the game kits — special maps, booklets and the first clue.

The hunt is on (90–120 min)
Teams compete in the streets of Berlin-Mitte — decoding clues, answering questions about the monuments around them and completing creative photo tasks. Teamwork happens naturally.

Award ceremony (≈ 30 min)
Everyone meets again — often at a restaurant or pub in the centre. The Game Master scores the answers, announces the winners and hands out diplomas and prizes.

Who can play Treasure Hunt Berlin?
Anyone who likes fun, competition, legends and history — and especially those who want to see Berlin from a different angle. It is not a physically demanding activity: a pleasant walk on flat, paved streets of Berlin-Mitte, covering roughly 3–4 km over two hours. Each team sets its own pace. Suitable for all ages and fitness levels; if anyone in your group has limited mobility, tell us in advance and we'll adapt the route.
Our team is international and very diverse. Will it work?
Diverse teams are exactly what Treasure Hunt was designed for. The game combines history questions, logic riddles, observation and creative photo tasks, so every personality type can contribute. It is also a great way for colleagues visiting from abroad to get to know the city — and for Berlin-based colleagues to discover places they walk past every day without noticing. What is the minimum and maximum number of participants?
The minimum is 9 participants — that keeps the game fun and competitive. There is no fixed maximum: for larger groups we deploy multiple Game Masters who stay in contact throughout, so the scoring stays shared and comparable. In the historic heart of Berlin-Mitte. Depending on the route, your teams will visit:
Route 1: the Reichstag Building, Brandenburg Gate and Pariser Platz, Unter den Linden, Gendarmenmarkt with the Französischer and Deutscher Dom and the Schiller Monument, Checkpoint Charlie and the remains of the Berlin Wall
Route 2: the Fernsehturm (TV Tower), Marx-Engels-Forum, Berlin Cathedral and Museum Island, Bebelplatz, Humboldt University, St. Nicholas' Church, St. Mary's Church, the Neptune Fountain and the Rotes Rathaus

How long does the event last?
The standard programme lasts 2 to 3 hours:
Meeting, introduction and splitting into teams (about 20 min)
The treasure hunt itself (90–120 min)

Where does the treasure hunt start and finish?
Start. The most popular meeting point is Pariser Platz by the Brandenburg Gate. We can equally start at your hotel, conference venue, office or a restaurant in the centre — we'll confirm the exact meeting point during booking.
Finish. If you are planning a group lunch or dinner after the game, we're happy to hold the award ceremony right there. Other options: your hotel, office, or outdoors on a square.
What if it rains?
Treasure Hunt takes place outdoors, but we're not afraid of the weather. Light rain doesn't stop the game — many teams tell us the rainy edition was the most memorable of all. You can also cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before the event. More in outdoor vs. indoor team building.
What do participants need to bring?
At least one smartphone with a camera per team for the photo tasks, comfortable shoes and clothes suitable for the weather. Everything else — maps, booklets, clues and prizes — we bring.

How far in advance do we need to book?
We recommend booking at least 1 week in advance, especially between April and October and around big trade fairs and conferences in Berlin. For groups over 50 people, plan 2–3 weeks ahead.
